IPE Collection: Helping preserve our planet
Our partnership with the Instituto de Pesquisas Ecológicas (IPÊ) has been in existence for over 15 years and has the objective of helping to conserve the Brazilian fauna and flora. 7% of net sales from the IPE collection go to the Institute, which develops projects aimed at conservation in the Atlantic Forest, the Amazon, the Pantanal and the Cerrado.
So, how does it work?
With this initiative, more than 5.4 million trees have already been planted in the Atlantic Forest, helping to conserve fauna and water resources. The partnership also helped fight the Pantanal fires in 2020 and currently supports research and building strategies for preventing fires in the region.
Take a step to the wild side
Every year, a new Havaianas IPE collection is launched, featuring facts and prints of animals from the Brazilian fauna and their habitats.
Since 2004, different species of animals have been present in the Havaianas IPE collection, showing consumers from over 100 countries the richness of Brazilian biodiversity and raising awareness for environmental conservation.
This is just our creative way of assuming socio-environmental responsibility — we love giving consumers, like you, the opportunity to step into a product that shows off the natural beauty of Brazil and also contributes to its conservation.
