We wanted to emphasize the importance of efficiency and focus our efforts on processes that add sustainable value to our products, reduce our footprint and benefit the well being of our employees. We improved our processes by making the most of old resources, finding an efficient energy source, and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Our corporate Health, Safety and Environment policy focuses on eliminating daily risks and impacts to all related processes.
Our chain
All our suppliers of raw materials, finished products and indirect suppliers, services and operations are monitored and managed periodically.
Our impact
In the NorthEast of Brazil, where our production is mainly concentrated, we create positive social environments with the help of our social responsibility department, Instituto Alpargatas.
Handmade with love
It takes 24 pairs of hands during the manufacturing process to create lil ol’ us! Those hands are responsible to assure quality and care in each pair of Havaianas we create, being the guardians of our sustainable process.
In all regions where we are present we take special care of the entire chain, especially people involved in the process. We work to generate a positive social impact, mainly in the Northeast of Brazil, where our production is concentrated. Important social groups such as Insituto Alpargatas and the main social action arm Alpargatas S.A. are responsible for maintaining a positive social environment for everybody involved.
